This week, we’re returning to one of the biggest, most dangerous corners of the Marvel Universe: the Infinity Gems.
A while back, we covered the Infinity Stones as seen in the movies, but the comics have always treated them a little differently. They feel stranger, broader, and more mythic there, less like powerful artifacts and more like pieces of existence that were never meant to be held by mortal hands. So I wanted to revisit them with a fresh take, this time focusing on the comic book versions of the Gems and how they might work at the table in Marvel Heroic.
Each day this week, we’ll look at one of the Gems, building toward the full Infinity Gauntlet. The goal isn’t just to make them powerful, though they absolutely should be. The goal is to make each Gem feel distinct, dangerous, tempting, and story-shaping in its own way.
Because when someone puts an Infinity Gem into play, the question should never be, “Is this powerful?” The question should be, “What happens now?”
