Enhanced Reflexes d8, Enhanced Stamina d8, Martial Arts d10, Wall-Crawling d6
SFX: Arachnid Assault. When Tarantula uses Martial Arts against a target who has already acted during the current action scene, step up or double the power die.
SFX: Dancing Between Blows. On a successful reaction against a close-combat attack, spend a d6 from the doom pool to inflict physical stress using Tarantula’s effect die.
SFX: Relentless Pursuit. When pursuing, cornering, or preventing a target from escaping, add a d6 and step up the effect die.
SFX: Sweeping Kick. Against multiple nearby targets, add a d6 and keep an additional effect die for each additional target. Add a d6 to the doom pool for each additional effect die.
Limit: Human Endurance. When Tarantula takes physical stress beyond d10, shut down Enhanced Reflexes and Martial Arts. Recover both powers when his physical stress is reduced below d10.
Climbing Talons d8, Retractable Boot Blades d10, Neurotoxin d8
SFX: Venomous Strike. When inflicting physical stress with Retractable Boot Blades, spend a d6 from the doom pool to also create a Poisoned d8 complication. Step up the complication each time Tarantula successfully strikes the poisoned target.
SFX: Crippling Cut. Step back Retractable Boot Blades to create a movement-related complication such as Severed Tendon, Pinned Foot, or Slowed d8. Step up the effect die used to create the complication.
SFX: Lethal Dose. Against a target with a Poisoned complication, step up or double Neurotoxin. Remove the complication after the action.
SFX: Hook and Throw. When using Climbing Talons to disarm, trip, or reposition an opponent, add a d6 and step up the effect die.
Limit: Specialized Gear. Shut down a Poisoned Battle Boots power and step up the lowest die in the doom pool. Spend a d6 from the doom pool to recover the power.
Limit: Limited Toxin. After using Lethal Dose, shut down Neurotoxin. Tarantula may recover it during a Transition Scene or by spending a d8 from the doom pool.
