The Monday Milestones tie-in datafile this week is Angel/Archangel.
This character is one that seems to get a different treatment depending on who is writing him. I chose to stat him up as he appears in the first arc of the 2009 X-Force run, “Angels and Demons”. In other words, his default state is a normal human appearance with apparently feathered wings. If you want to play the version that has the metal wings, but still has control of himself, step up Techno-Organic Wings to D10 and add Poison Darts D8. I would also add the Area Attack SFX.
Cool! I like how you did the Archangel aspect like Void. I find that the most interesting heroes tend to be the ones that walk the fine line between hero and villain.
What about being able to fire his feathers?
That’s what I was talking about in the write up. He can only do that in the metal wings form.
Ah, I thought that’s what the techno-organic wings were…
Spoiler Alert if you haven’t read that first X-Force arc.
It’s revealed that even when his wings appear to be made of feathers they are still Techno-Organic. His natural wings never actually grew back.
Do you think that when Archangel is in play his wings should be d10 instead of d8? Main reason I bring this up is because when he does have his metal wings he can travel at Mach 1. Supersonic Speeds.
Hmmm I didn’t realize he was that fast. Yeah if you are playing Archangel when he is under control, then D10 would be right.
