Secret War Transition Scene: The Hospital

This scene, chronologically, takes place immediately after the Ambush action scene. It’s entirely possible, however, that they’ve unlocked the Gathering the Team transition scene by this point.
In this scene, the heroes have found their way to the hospital, where they find the hero who was injured at the beginning of the Ambush scene in a coma. The extent of their injuries will be based on which hero has been injured, but they’re in pretty bad shape.
A large battle is looming (unbeknownst to the heroes), so now is a good time for players to acquire resources. One of the heroes may have realized what’s going on by this point, and may confront Nick Fury on it. This is a good time, if Fury is being used by the Watcher, to inflict emotional and mental stress on any heroes as Fury reveals the truth. He’ll take the heroes outside the hospital to talk about what happened, to keep them away from patients. He knows that an attack is inevitable.
Fury, when the heroes are gathered, asking him questions, says that tonight is the anniversary of their Secret War. If the heroes ask what he’s talking about, he explains the situation, but is interrupted by the villains attacking.

How? If the players don’t know what is going on. IMO up to this point there has been too little information to tell what is going on. So far there has been an ambush, the reason for which is yet unknown. And possibly a memory from the past, about Nick Fury gathering a group of heroes.

And how exactly? IMO basically all that can happen is, that a player has drawn the conclusion, that there must be something involving Nck Fury, but without any idea what exactly.
