Rina Patel is a mutant hero best known for her time-displaced consciousness, visions of possible futures, and time-manipulation abilities. She joined the New Warriors after foreseeing Speedball’s death, later helping save the future and stop Volx’s power-neutralizing weapon.

Power Set: Temporal Displacement

SFX: I Saw This Coming. When you use Precognition to create an asset, step up the asset or step up the effect die.

SFX: Future Self Tag-In. Spend 1 PP to replace one die in your pool with a die from the doom pool of equal or smaller size, representing another version of Rina acting through this moment. Remove that doom die afterward.

SFX: Time Skip. When avoiding physical stress, add Time Manipulation to your reaction. On a successful reaction, you may spend 1 PP to create a Skipped Ahead d8 asset.

SFX: Wrong Timeline. When an opponent succeeds against you, spend 1 PP to force them to reroll their effect die and keep the second result.

SFX: Temporal Afterimage. Against multiple opponents, add a d6 and keep an additional effect die for each extra target.

SFX: The Moment Repeats. On a failed action using a Temporal Displacement power, spend 1 PP to reroll your dice pool. Add the failed roll’s highest rolling die to the doom pool.

Limit: Mutant. Earn 1 PP when affected by mutant-specific complications, tech, prejudice, or power suppression.

Limit: Out of Sync. Change Precognition or Time Manipulation into a complication and gain 1 PP. Recover during a Transition Scene or by activating an opportunity.

1 XP when you warn another hero about a danger they haven’t seen yet.
3 XP when your warning changes the team’s plan or causes tension with another hero.
10 XP when you either prevent a terrible future from happening or accept that one tragedy must happen to stop something worse.

New Warrior, Old Scars
1 XP when you reference your history with the New Warriors or another young hero team.
3 XP when you put yourself at risk to protect a teammate from a fate you’ve foreseen.
10 XP when you either fully recommit to being a hero in the present or walk away because you’ve seen too much.
