The Star Blaster is the Nova Corps’ fast-response attack craft, designed for orbital defense, pursuit actions, blockade runs, and fleet engagements against hostile cosmic forces. A single Star Blaster is a dangerous ship in the hands of a trained Corps pilot, but Nova doctrine favors coordinated squadrons moving in tight formation, linking targeting arrays, cross-covering approach vectors, and overwhelming larger enemies with disciplined attack patterns.
While this is specific to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you can also use these Nova starships in Annihilation to battle the Annihilation Wave.

SFX: Area Attack. Against multiple targets, for each additional target add a d6 and keep an additional effect die.
SFX: Coordinated Attack Run. When the squadron attacks a single target, step up or double Energy Blast. Remove the highest rolling die and use three dice for the total.
SFX: Nova Targeting Link. When creating an Asset for another Nova Corps vessel, hero, or allied squadron, step up the effect die.
Limit: Squadron Cohesion. Team may be targeted individually or by Area Attack SFX. D8 physical stress inflicted removes a die from Team. Recover Team after a Transition Scene.
Limit: Fragile Frames. Against attacks from capital ships, cosmic entities, or heavy anti-ship weapons, count 1s and 2s on Star Blaster Tech dice as opportunities.
Limit: Nova Command Net. If Nova Corps command, local fleet control, or the squadron’s comm network is disrupted, step back Team dice. Recover by activating an opportunity, repairing the command link, or during a Transition Scene.
