What a roller-coaster ride!
This is Jayson, your friendly neighborhood Watcher, coming to you fresh from one of the most harrowing experiences I’ve ever had as a gamer. You’ll see why as you read this installment. Reality alteration stories can have some strange effects, even on those playing the game.
I’ve been treating these posts as though the stories were issues in a comic book, with cover art and all. This installment is no exception, and for our third issue we are finally in the second act of the story. Reality has been displaced with Scarlet Witch’s frightening declaration of ‘no more madness,’ and of course, since she thinks she’s the only one who isn’t insane (when she’s clearly out-of-her-mind loony), you know that what she said and what transpired are polar opposites. So in what kind of mad house do the heroes find themselves entrapped?
As if the release of our main story wasn’t exciting enough, I’ve been busy penning the next part of Arach-Knight’s origin story. It is set between Issues 1 and 2 of House Of Madness, in the week between the defeat of Magneto and the arrival of Quicksilver at Avenger’s Mansion. The story will span, I think, four issues (Issues 5-8) and will cover Gabriel struggling with one of his greatest sources of guilt.
Unlike issues 1-4, I’m writing these issues in comic book script format. My hope is to one day actually draw them out as a comic, but between my home, work, and gaming lives, finding time to draw a 4-issue comic book might prove a challenge. Nevertheless, here’s hoping. In the meantime, please enjoy Avenging Arach-Knight #5: Fear.

Note: Thanks to @orionacaba for giving me permission to use Tiberius Stormwind in my game, and for helping me create his datafile.
Love it! I know I’m biased, but still. Can’t wait to find out what happens next!
