Watcher Datafiles: Morlun, Inheritor Heir

It all started with Morlun. When he showed up a couple of years ago, it was one of the worst things that ever happened to Peter Parker. The beating he gave to our friendly neighborhood wall crawler set the stage for just how huge his fight against multiple of his kin would be. Morlun is ruthless and relentless. He let Spider-Man get away just to show him how powerless he really was against Morlun. It wasn’t until the happy accident of Peter’s irradiated blood (along with a healthy encounter with the Other) gave him an edge to finally kill Morlun.

Or so Peter thought. It took dying several times for Morlun to finally learn to stay away, but he has gone on a killing spree across the multiverse with the promise that he will be back for Spider-Man of Earth-616. So as the one set to inherit from the Lord and Father of the Inheritors, what powerful boon can Morlun expect? Will he be a vengeful lord in his own right, or will he forge a new path for his kind to grow and expand across the Great Web in new ways? You’ll just have to play to find out.
