Marvel Plot Points

A fan site for the Marvel Heroic Roleplaying Game by Margaret Weis Productions

And There Came A Day…

Well folks. Sad news today on the Marvel Heroic Roleplaying front. If you haven’t yet, give this article on the MWP website a read.

For my part, I still plan on playing (and putting out new fan-content for) MHRPG for as long as people are interested. A game is only dead when people quit playing it, and this is a game that has already given me hours of enjoyment. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t sad to see official support end, but MWP gave us a lot of great content in a short amount of time. And Marvel Comics cranks out new potential content every week.

Carry on True Believers!

UPDATE!!!

If you have been waiting to get any PDFs, get them now! DriveThruRPG posted that the PDFs will be gone on 4/30!

Once I am settled in to my new home, I plan to re-kindle my Marvel game. I think it;s a great system and I want the fans to keep playing and creating!

I still play the D6 Star Wars system from West End Games, the West End version of DC Universe and I’ll keep playing the Marvel Heroic game, too. Good systems never die.

Darn, MHR is a solidly good system. If you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some books & PDFs to buy. Also, I’m hoping that fans will pick up the slack and we can still get a fan-made Age of Apocalypse book. Days of Future Past would be cool, too. Keep up the good work on the Maximum Carnage event!

There is a DoFP out there somewhere, and AoA would be awesome. I know I’ll keep coming here for new stuff for the game, it was WAY better than the last one that i played, and that one was cool in it’s own ways. But i hope you guys here keep going and continue to bring us material, not point in saying good material since it has been GREAT.

Now all we need is a place for eveyone to put their non-marvel stuff that they are doing.
