Hero Datafile: Vision

To close out Avengers Week (hopefully you’ll get to go see the movie this weekend), we’re presenting you with that amazing android, Vision!

Vision is the Avengers’ version of the classic Pinocchio story. The artificial person who dreams of being or maybe even believes himself to be a real boy.

The Vision has always been a very interesting hero and I am glad to see you do a build of him here. Thanks for the good work, as usual.

Hope to see the movie this afternoon with the family. You guys are killing it on this site. Every day is at least a base hit, and to tell the truth, most days you hit it out of the park. I have said elsewhere, Secret War is like a master class in event design, and you continue to prove me right.

    Keep up the good work!

Shawn this isn’t directed towards you.

For anyone out there who has already seen the movie: I don’t get to go see it until Tuesday (May 8th, 4:10pm, 100 hours, 44 minutes and 33 seconds, No I’m not counting down WHY DO YOU ASK?).

If you post spoilers in the comments on this site I swear by Odin’s eye, I WILL END YOU!

    Looks good guys.

Just a heads up. Under Focus, it looks like you used a Template. You probably want to swap POWER SET for DENSITY CONTROL.

Ah! Thanks for catching that. I will fix. Also, expect a more robust character description above the datafile. 🙂

Fixed and up again! It seems that even with the 4 of us looking at the files, some small things still slips by.

Ack! Spoiler alert!? Just kidding. You could tell me there was an entire 2 1/2 hour movie after the credits as long as you keep zipped up on the contents.

    Gentlemen,

I am very impressed with your site to date but I must say I do not agree with the format of this datafile. The Vision’s power sets derive from two things, (ie. two power sets) his SYNTHEZOID BODY (density control, senses, reflexes, etc) and SOLAR JEWEL (regeneration, energy blast, etc).

In fairness, you could easily just rename the power sets when you use him yourself. Density Control becomes Solar Jewel, and Robotic Nature becomes Synthezoid Body. It may not exactly be a 1-to-1 swap over, but it still wouldn’t be too far off.

So after a couple of years review, and seeing this guy on the big screen (finally), I feel like we did a pretty good job here capturing the Vision. I’d love to hear what anyone has to say now that Vision has been deemed ready for prime time.
