Play Marvel Online & Other Marvel Sites
There’s a new website in town. Well, a couple of websites. And we’ll talk about all of them right now.
Play Marvel Online is a brand new site that lets you… play… Marvel… online… I guess it’s pretty obvious, isn’t it? Well, they’re open for business, and letting people sign up and make characters now. It’s a combination of a MUD, message board, and online-run tabletop game. I’m signed up. You should be too. I’m really excited. We’ll keep you updated as to the happenings over there as time goes on.
There’s a couple new fan sites similar to ours out there that have been springing up.
First off: The Doom Pool. I enjoy this site for a few reasons. One, because their site name is one of the game mechanics, like ours. Two, because there’s some really good content here. Right now, he’s covering X-Men First Class.
A brand new site is Watching Earth-616. This one (as of this post) only has two posts, but it’s really well done. He’s covering Ghost Box storyline from Astonishing X-Men.
Finally, for the biggest bang for your buck, go check out Exploring Infinity, specifically this post. Adam covers all the Marvel activity from around the web. Very, very good, and he’s got some great mechanics discussions on the site.
