Today, our Hero Datafile for The Defenders is none other than that cosmic-power-wielding wonder: Silver Surfer! Silver Surfer is a cosmic being, able to fly through suns, and as such, is pretty powerful.
This datafile comes to us from Jonathan Baldridge, who submitted it to us for use here. Thank you, Jonathan! And thank you to Andrew, our amazing Monday Milestones guy for putting this into the datafile format for us.
If anyone out there would like to be a contributor to the blog, just let me know! We’re always looking for more to help out.
I remember one of my players wanting to use him in the original MSHG and he had all Unearthly stats. Man did he unbalance the game . Of course back them it was all about combat and stats so I had a hard rime crafting adventures to challenge him 😦
why do I think that when we see the Annihilation event book that this datafile might be a tad underpowered? 🙂 Still, very impressive job.

I would raise his Menace, he was after all the favored of Galactus’ Heralds, his very appearance is fear for the races that know of him.
I would drop vehicle skill, his board is more an extension of himself vice a traditional vehicle.
Speaking of his board, this is more me having trouble remembering, he didn’t have dimensional travel? It was more hyper space if that what your going for. Unsure if that would matter in a combat scene. His speed needs mentioning
I am torn on his affiliations. He rode alone in front of his master. Solo seams appropriate, but after that he was more a team player, FF, Defenders. I never really saw him with a sidekick, and they usually cramped his style.
Considering his level and power, but mostly his narrative impact, his is a heavy hitter a threat for the FF. Have you considered 3 powers sets, Power Cosmic, Surfboard, and Cosmic Altered Body (something to that effect). Put the strength, stamina, reflexes in the latter. The transmutation, sense and cosmic energy in the power. Really opens him up.
