While Margaret Weis Productions is hard at work on statting up the various cosmic heroes and villains of Annihilation, I decided to create a Cosmic Villain Datafile of my own, for my own Event, The Moon is a Lonely Place to Die. In this adventure, the heroes do battle with Ronan the Accuser, and so, he’s presented below, along with his Universal Weapon.
Ronan is not currently a villain…per se. At least according to the latest issues of FF. Not that this really matters but there are numerous Marvel characters who either don’t truly qualify as heroes or villains or who at one time or another are have been both.
I think this is one of the reasons I like Marvel Heroic so much. Instead of a single “Official” stat block representing each character, a given character may have a different datafile representing them at a different period or point in their careers.
Kudos btw. Ronan the Accuser is one of my favorites. I am a big fan of anything Kree.
I’m currently working on an Event based off of a 1998 run of Fantastic Four. In this, Ronan is attempting to break into The Watcher’s home to steal powerful artifacts.
You’re right, though. You could just as easily use heroes as villains, of vice versa.
Agreed when Ravager (I think thats his name) one of Ahnilluses servants (bread to fight and win against galacticus heralds) got his face smashed in by the supposedly feeble Ronan I quickly became a fan. i love it!
