NEW EVENT: Council of Four!
Howdy, True Believers!
How about that season finale of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., huh? And Arrow too!
Now to move on to something completely unrelated, it has been a while since I last posted to Plot Points, but that is because I have been working on something very special for all of you fellow MHRPGers out there.
My last post featured my first attempt at creating a MHRPG Event, titled X-Men: Avenged, featuring the classic “Blue and Gold” X-Men from the 90’s as made popular by the The X-Men Animated Series and the actual X-Men comic book series written by Chris Claremont and drawn by Jim Lee. (Head on over and check it out, if you please!) With this new Event, I take a leap into the present and focus on the heroes of Marvel NOW!
Synopsis:
When the Reed Richards of an alternate reality comes home and finds his Earth destroyed and all those he loved dead, he vows to create a new, perfect world where nothing bad will ever happen again. Gathering three other like-minded individuals from other realities, Reed created the Council of Four and enacted his plan to create his perfect reality. Play as your favorite Marvel NOW! heroes as you embark on an adventure unlike any other as you travel across the Multiverse, saving other realities and your own from the diabolical machinations of the Council of Four. Featuring over 80 all-new Watcher and Player datafiles, this 189-page Event boasts a collection of heroes and villains unlike any MHRPG Event before it, complete with non-stop action and high-stakes combat. Will the combined effort of the Multiverse’s mightiest heroes be enough to defeat the Council of Four? Or is the Multiverse doomed for destruction?

Edit: After playing this game with a group of my own and seeing groups play online, I’ve noticed that the New Avengers (or Illuminati) lend themselves very well to this story of reality-hopping and alternate Earth destruction. If you and your crew would like to include the Illuminati in your play session. Here’s a supplement you can print out and use! Enjoy!

I wish more of these events would compile their material into a pdf,……and that there were more events.

As a writer, it’s always great to hear that your hard work is appreciated. Especially when it’s done for free. Lol
I have more ideas for more Events, but with my first year of teaching going on right now, the next installment of my Events will be a little stalled.
